A new exhibition at Hebel_121 art space in Basel, Switzerland, presents works by the Japanese artists Yuka Miyazaki and Shuhei Fukuda. Yuka Miyazaki’s paintings with ashes are formed by the invisible laws of nature. Her works are connecting with the act of constant change, with the eternal circulation between life and death. Shuhei Fukuda’s mode of practice is showing the process of natural transformation of GINPAKU (silver leaf) caused by the climate of the surrounding environment. Both artists and their works are connecting with the universal flow of time. The exhibition runs until October 14, 2023.
