The Baer Faxt is an art industry news source written and published by Josh Baer. It was launched by Baer in 1994 as a weekly newsletter delivered via fax machine and now also provides clients with services such as an auction database and an art advisory membership program. Josh Baer began his career in the art business as a gallerist in the late 1970s.
