Symetria – French Connection is the title of the current exhibition at Hebel_121 Art Space in Basel. The show features works by John Armleder, Nicolas Chardon, Christian Floquet, Daniel Göttin, Nicole Hassler, Jean-Charles Kien, Gerda Maise, Olivier Mosset, and Christian Robert-Tissot. Founded in 2018 by Jean-Charles Kien and Christian Savioz in Saint-Louis, France, Atelier Symetria is dedicated to geometric abstraction and the printing technique of screen printing. Its geographical location in the border triangle of Switzerland, France and Germany favors the exchange with international artists, as has been practiced by the art space Hebel_121 in Basel since 1998.
