Ohad Meromi: At Rest / 56 Henry, New York

Ohad Meromi‘s second solo show at the gallery 56 Henry in New York occupies both gallery spaces, 56 and 105 Henry Street. Ohad Meromi explores the concept of pausing through a series of small watercolors he started creating last year after quitting smoking. His work highlights a deep connection between physical actions—such as smoking, abstaining, drawing, or simply existing—and mental processes. The sculptures in his exhibition, primarily figurative and crafted from materials like bronze, Aqua-Resin, steel, and polyurethane, seek to unravel this intricate relationship between the body and mind. The exhibition runs until October 26, 2025.
