Roni Horn and Louise Bourgeois at Hauser Wirth Zurich
Hauser & Wirth Zürich presents two exhibitions: Roni Horn, Portrait of an Image and Roni Horn and Louise Bourgeois, Drawings – curated by Jerry Gorovoy. American artist Roni Horn is among the most important representatives of contemporary art. Her current exhibition is the first major solo exhibition of her work in the Zurich gallery. She shows the photo series Portrait of an Image (with Isabelle Huppert), White Dickinson (long square aluminium sculptures with words in white plastic cast within) and the glass sculpture Doubt Block. In a joint exhibition, Louise Bourgeois and Roni Horn present a selection of their fabric and pigment drawings. Jerry Gorovoy, a long-time assistent to Louise Bourgeois, is curator of the exhibition that has been designed specifically for Hauser & Wirth. Impressions from the opening reception, Hauser & Wirth Zürich, June 2, 2006.
