“The exhibition focuses on Liquid Archive, a vast database containing hundreds of pictures. Amorales takes items from the archive and combines them in ever new variations to create images in a number of different media, including animations, works on paper, and paintings. He uses his virtually inexhaustible iconographic repertoire to dissolve the boundaries between the media. In this way the artist employs contemporary techniques to generate archetypal images of an uncanny beauty that imprint themselves on the viewer’s memory.” (PR Daros Exhibitions.)
