Jeongmoon Choi, Daniel Sabranski / Gillian Morris Gallery, Berlin

Galerie Gillian Morris is a young gallery located at Brunnenstrasse in Berlin, Germany. The gallery started its Fall season with a solo exhibition of the Korean artist Jeongmoon Choi (born 1966), who uses wool threads and UV-light for her spatial- and light installations. In the main room of the gallery she presents the new installation “Light Drawing I (Metropolis), a work who leads the viewer into two contradictory worlds within a globalized metropolis. In the video room Berlin-based artist Daniel Sabranski (born 1977) shows the two video works “I’m a photograph” and “Dissapearance”. In this video the founder of the gallery, Gillian Morris, gives us an introduction to the work of the two artists and talks about the program of the gallery.
