Euro-Centric, part 1; John Stezaker; Hernan Bas / Rubell Family Collection, Miami

The Rubell Family Collection (RFC) presents three new exhibitions, running from December 5, 2007 until November 28, 2008: “Euro-Centric, Part 1”; “John Stezaker”; and “Hernand Bas”. “Euro-Centric, Part 1” is the first of a series of exhibition over the coming years dedicated to European art and artists. The exhibition is presented in 16 of the 27 galleries that consitute the RFC exhibition space. “John Stezaker: Works from the Rubell Family Collection” is John Stezaker’s first solo show in an American public institution. The exhibition brings together 17 works that span 28 years of his production. The Hernan Bas exhibition presents 38 works collected by the Rubell family over the course of a decade, and represents each of Bas’ series completed thus far. Further information about the three exhibitions is available on the RFC website. Impressions from the opening reception – Domino Magazine Breakfast, hosted by Jennifer Rubell, December 6, 2007.
