Comenius Roethlisberger & Admir Jahic: The Flying Saucers or In God We Trust / Scope Basel 2010

Facinated by all things extraterrestrial, the creative duo Comenius Roethlisberger & Admir Jahic presented their work “The Flying Saucers or In God We Trust” at Scope art fair Basel 2010.

Roethlisberger and Jahic are known for their “YouTube Drawings”, a series of drawings that show stills from YouTube clips. The artists captured hundreds of individual frames from YouTube videos and rendered them in colored pencil on handmade paper. Another project is “Lady Diana or For Big Mistakes”. Comenius Roethlisberger and Admir Jahic purchased an eraser from Lady Diana’s school days and used it to erase different portraits of Lady Diana and Prince Charles that they had just drawn for this purpose.
