Mark Flood: Bitch Moves at Peres Projects Berlin

VernissageTV attended the opening of Mark Flood’s solo exhibition “Bitch Moves” at Peres Projects Mitte in Berlin. Mark Flood was born in Houston, Texas, in 1957. Since the late 1970s and early 1980s, he has been involved with the art and music scenes in Houston. It’s Mark Flood’s third solo show with Peres Projects. Last year, Mark Flood had the solo exhibition “Chelsea Whores” at Zach Feuer Gallery in New York that received critical recognition from the New York and international art press. Simultaneously to his show at Peres Projects Galerie Rüdiger Schöttle in Munich presents works from this Lace Paintings series.

Before visiting the show, we recommend watching the video press release on Peres Projects’ website. To “celebrate society’s relationship to contemporary signage” (Mark Flood, press release), to mix up with American expats and to experience an unconventional dialog with the artist, use the chance at the second opening on the 26th of November at Peres projects in Berlin Kreuzberg (Schlesische Str. 26).
