Blip.tv’s Five Favorite VernissageTV Episodes

VernissageTV on Blip.tv Homepage

According to our friends at Blip.tv, VernissageTV is Blip.tv’s longest running web series.

Wow! We didn’t know that and we find that quite amazing. When we started VernissageTV in 2005, we hosted our videos on our own server. But soon we had so many downloads from all over the world, that we needed a distribution partner to provide our viewers with fast, reliable and high quality streaming of our videos. For a while we used the Internet Archive, and did some tests with YouTube, but back then both didn’t really work for us. Remember, 2005: the whole web video thing was just about to start. Fortunately we discovered Blip.tv and they provided us with the best video quality, download speed and features. Today, Blip.tv even helps us distribute our program to iTunes, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Roku, and elsewhere. And for viewers, Blip.tv is the perfect place to easily discover the best in original Web series from a wide variety of categories.
