John Armleder is one of the most important and influential Swiss artists on the international art scene. For more than four decades the artist has created a unique universe of works of art including installations, appropriated ready-made sculptures, geometrical pattern and abstract ‘pour’ paintings. Exhibitions of John Armleder have been held at major museums and galleries around the world including the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
