Ralph Bürgin: Watching a Peaceful River / Barbara Seiler Galerie, Zürich

Watching a Peaceful River is Barbara Seiler Gallery’s first solo exhibition of new works by Ralph Bürgin. Bürgin has studied in Zürich and Basel and completed his Master in Fine Arts at Institut Kunst Basel. In his works, the Swiss artist brings human bodies and body parts onto canvases while playing with proportion, scale and space.

Ralph Bürgin currently lives in Basel (Switzerland) and works in his studio in France. Recent solo exhibitions include Centre culturel suisse in Paris. This summer, three large scale paintings will be on display in Zürich as part of Gasträume, the city of Zürich’s art in public space initiative.
