VTV Classics (r3): The Expanded Eye / Kunsthaus Zürich (2006)

In 2006, the Kunsthaus Zürich showed the exhibition “The Expanded Eye. Stalking the Unseen”. Curated by Bice Curiger, the show took a look at “the ever-widening horizons of the human eye in the age of its physiologically and technologically extended faculties”. The exhibition included renowned works by Op Artist Bridget Riley, the Surrealist Salvador Dalí and video artist Nam June Paik. Highlights were the reconstruction of spaces from the 1960s by artists such as Bridget Riley, Gianni Colombo, François Morellet, and Julio Le Parc, and a substantial program of films.

VTV Classics (r3): The Expanded Eye / Kunsthaus Zürich (2006) is the 67th episode in our VTV Classics (r3) series. VTV Classics (r3) highlights the treasures of VernissageTV’s huge archive. Back then published in Standard Definition, these classics are now re-mastered, re-edited and reissued in High Definition.
