At its gallery space in S-chanf in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, the gallery Von Bartha currently presents Berlin-based artist Claudia Wieser. The exhibition title is borrowed from the first complete edition of Shakespeare’s dramas (1623). For the exhibition, the square gallery space becomes a model for a stage set. Elements include tiled pedestals, wallpaper made from both the artist’s own and found photographs, sculptures applied with gold leaf, drawings and relief-like mirror walls which form part of the scenic space, aiming to make the viewer part of the scenery. The exhibition runs until September 12, 2020.
