Onajide Shabaka is an artist we first met in 2008 when he celebrated the 9th anniversary of his online publication Miami Art Exchange. Onajide Shabaka was born Cincinnati, OH in 1948. He studied at California College of the Arts and Art Center College of Design and earned his MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. He lives and work in Miami. At Untitled Art Fair 2022, his gallery, Emerson Dorsch, showed two of his works. In this video Onajide Shabaka shows us his work and talks about his current projects.
