This video takes you on a tour of the 2023 edition of Art Basel‘s Unlimited sector. Unlimited is Art Basel’s exhibition platform for projects that transcend the classical art fair stand, including large-scale sculptures and paintings, video projections, installations, and live performances.
For Art Basel Unlimited 2023, 76 projects have been selected by the Art Basel Selection Committee. For the most part, these projects are being shown for the first time at Art Basel. The artworks are displayed in a 16,000-square-meter hall.
Art Basel 2023 Unlimited is curated by curator and art critic Giovanni Carmine. Carmine has been Director of the Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen, Switzerland since 2007. He has previously curated a number of international projects, including the Swiss Pavilion at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013.
