VernissageTV met Prof. Luigi Colani at his studio workshop in Karlsruhe / Germany. While working on a bicycle design that will be unveiled at the Road World Championships later this year he talks about his current products and projects, the state of design today – and looks back on his almost 60 years long career.
Currently the Design Museum London presents the first UK retrospective of Luigi Colani’s work in “Luigi Colani – Translating Nature” (March 3 – 17 June 2007). The exhibition brings together Colani’s extraordinary large scale prototypes including aircraft, trucks and cars, as well as his furniture and product design.
