French Kissin’ in the USA and Carlos Amorales at The Moore Space, Miami / Opening

December 5, 2007

“French Kissin’ in the USA” is a title from a 1986 hit song by Blondie. The Moore Space in Miami uses this title for an exhibition of works by 18 contemporary French artists. The aim is to present emerging artists which have not yet been widely received outside France. The Moore Space is dedicated to presenting international contemporary art forms and aims to achieve this through an experimental program of cross-disciplinary exhibitions, performances, artists and curators residencies and public programs which reflect the state of contemporary art today. Also on display: a special project by Carlos Amorales. Impressions from the Opening Reception, December 4, 2007.
