The Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland National Anthem / Utopics, Biel/Bienne

September 9, 2009

Among the participants of Utopics, the 11th Swiss Sculpture Exhibition in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, are the Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland (KREV). The Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland were proclaimed in 1992 and consist of all Border Territories: Geographical, Mental & Digital. Thus, KREV is the largest and most populous realm on Earth, incorporating all boundaries between other nations as well as Digital Territory and other states of existence. Every time you travel somewhere, and every time you enter another form, such as the dream state, you visit Elgaland-Vargaland.

For Utopics, the kings Carl Michael von Hausswolff of Vargaland and Leif Elggren of Elgaland annexed the language boundary in Biel/Bienne. Biel/Bienne is bilingual, a French and German speaking city, called Biel in German and Bienne in French. To announce the assimilation of the language boundary, the Jugenorchester (youth orchestra) Biel/Bienne performed the national anthem of the Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland.

Utopics, 11th Swiss Sculpture Exhibition (Schweizerische Plastikausstellung, SPA), Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. Professional Days, August 29, 2009.
