The New Museum of Contemporary Art is New York’s only museum devoted exclusively to contemporary art. In late 2007 the museum will open its new, 60,000 square foot building at 235 Bowery at Prince Street. The new museum has been designed by Tokyo-based architects Sejima + Nishizawa/SANAA. The facility will feature galleries, a theater, an education floor, a museum store, a café, and a top floor event space. New York correspondent Theodore Bouloukos talks with Chelsea Scott, director of communications, about the new building, the New Museum of Contemporary Art, and their affiliate Rhizome. Armory Show 2007, February 24, 2007.
