Carte Blanche à … was a series of exhibitions at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris that gives an internationally renowned artist the freedom to conceive an entire exhibition. In 2007, Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone had carte blanche and among the artists presented are Robert Gober, Toba Khedoori, Sarah Lucas, Paul Thek, and Andy Warhol. The exhibition title is derived from the title of the never published book “The Third Mind” by William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin. As part of our VTV Classics series, we re-captured and edited the footage of this exhibition.
