Les Innombrables: A Sculpture a Day: Mighty Squirrel

For those looking for a fun way to fill their time during the Corona crisis, Yorkshire Sculpture International (Henry Moore Institute, Leeds Art Gallery, The Hepworth Wakefield and Yorkshire Sculpture Park) launched a sculpture challenge on social media, hashtag asculptureaday. The rules are simple: all sculpture must be made from items you find in your home, and you must make your sculpture in 5 minutes or under. Despite the Corona crisis, we’re pretty busy, but we love sculpture, and we have a lot of stuff lying around, so we decided to accept the challenge. This is the first sculpture we created:

Les Innombrables: Sculpture Improvisée (Improvised Sculpture) 001 (Mighty Squirrel), 2020 Parts: Stefano Giovannoni: Mary Biscuit, Alessi; Konstantin Grcic: Stacking Glass, Iittala; Philippe Starck: Juicy Salif; Stefano Giovannoni: Nutty the Cracker, Alessi.
