Les Innombrables: 9 Bleecker Street

Swiss art collective Les Innombrables — masters of seizing randomly found realities — made a trip to New York, just to create another artwork in their series of tributes to décollage pioneers Mimmo Rotella, Jacques Villeglé, Raymond Hains, and Raymond Saunders. This time, they’ve claimed the facade of 9 Bleecker Street, not far from the New Museum of Contemporary Art in the Bowery neighborhood of Manhattan.

Les Innombrables are known since the 1990s for “seizing” or “found” realities/performances/installations in art-fair contexts, like their past works at Frieze LA 2019, Art Basel Miami, Venice Biennale, etc..
