VTV Classics (r3): Wolfgang Laib: Without Time – Without Body – Without Place (2007)

“Without Time – Without Body – Without Place” was the title of German artist Wolfgang Laib’s first show at Sean Kelly Gallery in New York since joining the gallery. The exhibition was organized around one of Laib’s most important new, large-scale pollen and rice installations. On display were also a monumental double staircase, new black and red houses of Indian granite, and wax sculptures. Wolfgang Laib (born 1950 in Metzingen, Germany) is know for the use of materials such as milk, pollen, rice, wax and marble.

This is No. 77 in our series of VTV Classics. VTV Classics (r3) highlights the treasures of VernissageTV’s huge archive. Back then published in Standard Definition, these videos are now re-mastered, re-edited and reissued in High Definition.
