The current exhibition at Behncke Gallery in Munich is dedicated to the German artist Marco Schuler. Marco Schuler (born 1972, lives and works in the border triangle of Germany, France and Switzerland) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Professor Olaf Metzel and taught there. The painter, sculptor and video artist Schuler has been honoured with national and international awards. His works can be found in the collection of the Lenbachhaus and the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, among others. His last art-in-architecture project “Kinderkrippe am Stoppelfeld” was completed in 2023 for the city of Munich. In 2023, the Kunsthalle Darmstadt showed Marco Schuler’s works under the title “Marco Schuler: Go! Go! Go!“. His performative video “Schuler zieht sich an, 2000” was part of the “Solar Breath” exhibition at the Eres Foundation in Munich last year. The exhibition runs until June 15, 2024.
